The Little Forest People Rangers are looking for Junior Rangers to explore the wonders of Omega's forests.

Junior Rangers is the next level of participation within the magical world of Little Forest People. Junior Rangers experience a crossroads where leadership and creativity meet in the playground of the natural world. The fantasy realms expand as Junior Rangers stretch their independence through play, adventure, and leadership development.

The Ranger Staff is a team with extensive experience running youth programs that nurture and challenge children in safe environments. The team includes musician and teacher Jay Cook, storyteller and naturalist Rich Humphreys, artist and educator Kesse Humphreys, wilderness educators John “Raccoon” Hunt and Lizzie “Raven” Bogosian, and energetic adventure seeker Eric “Epic” Baribeau.

A limited number of teens between the ages of 14 and 16 may register in the Junior Ranger Program as Rangers-In-Training, learning outdoor education and leadership skills.

Enrollment is limited for this program; register early.

Kids must be chaperoned. Chaperones may choose any workshop offered this week or an R&R Getaway Retreat.

Each day campers should wear hiking shoes or sneakers, bring a bathing suit and towel, and wear clothes that are best for playing in the woods.

This workshop is being held during Family Week. Be advised almost 200 children are on campus, and services and schedules are geared for children and families.
