Love grows by continually deepening and becoming ever more mindful, authentic, vulnerable, safe, resilient, playful, compassionate, and wise.
During this retreat for couples, we learn simple but profound practices that deepen our capacity to give and receive love, strengthen or rebuild trust, overcome fears, and heal hurts, losses, and resentments. We practice abiding together in the present moment, meeting each other in truth and mutuality, and expanding our compassion to include more of whatever is unloved in ourselves and our partners.
Throughout the weekend, we create a safe and loving environment, ample enough to hold the whole human truth of who we are—including our strengths, vulnerabilities, fears, faith, doubts, and courage.
This retreat—open to all couples, straight or gay, young or old, married or unmarried—includes experiential exercises, as well as talks, meditations, humor, demonstrations, and group sharing. By working on their own relationships, helping professionals also learn skills they can use with clients.
