Mosaics have been around for at least 4,500 years but are enjoying a modern Renaissance.
Learn firsthand the appeal of this enduring medium as you create your own mirror mosaic using glass, jewels, seashells, and quirky repurposed objects.
Guided by artist Suzi K. Edwards, you explore the tools, materials, and techniques of this ancient art. Through discussion of color and design, you learn how surrounding your life with art can enhance an environment and encourage reflection and conversation.
You leave with a beautiful mixed media mosaic mirror that will reflect your ideal creative self back to you each time you glace at it in the future.
All are welcome, including children 12 and older (with an adult); no previous experience is necessary.
Enrollment is limited for this program; register early.
Suzi K. Edwards is also teaching Mosaics Immersion.
