Mosaics Immersion

Learn the history of this ancient art as you create your own mosaic—a self-portrait, an ideal landscape, or a dazzling abstract composition.

From the earliest known mosaic (the 4,500-year-old Standard of Ur in modern day Iraq) to the flourishing contemporary art scene, mosaics have had an important place in public and private art.

Discover for yourself the historical beauty of mosaics as we explore the art of the past and examine what modern mosaic artists are doing with this versatile medium.

Guided by mosaic artist Suzi K. Edwards, you learn the tools, materials, and techniques of mosaic art and then create your own piece—a self-portrait, an ideal landscape, or a dazzling abstract composition.

You return home with art to beautify your home as well as skills to continue making mosaics on your own. No previous experience is necessary.

No credit or refund is available if you cancel on the arrival day; if you do not show up; or if you leave an event early for any reason. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.
