Following an outpouring of enthusiasm for her film, Look at Us Now Mother! –which follows Gayle Kirschenbaum’s journey with her mother as their turbulent relationship transforms to love and friendship–this weekend workshop guides us through the process of forgiveness and healing.
Learn the 7 steps to restoring relationships that matter during this forgiveness immersion, a hands-on-workshop where we are asked to evaluate and reform our thinking. Kirschenbaum introduces her method of turning negatives into positives through understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness. By doing so, we shift from feeling anger to having compassion, and experience freedom and power we have rarely felt before. We go from being the victim of our stories to the hero.
The workshop is for adult children, particularly daughters who have unresolved issues with a parent or someone close to them. That person can long be deceased. The majority of attendees are women since the mother/daughter relationship is the most highly charged relationship, but the workshop is open to all genders.
If we don’t resolve a primary relationship such as a parent, we continue to hold onto the anger and resentment and it affects all aspects of our lives—our personal and professional relationships, career, and our health.
