Deepen your recovery in this intensive 5-day retreat that works the Twelve Steps through the lens of Buddhist teachings and practices.

Using Kevin Griffin’s Buddhism & The Twelve Steps Workbook as a framework, we explore Twelve Step themes like powerlessness, higher power, inventory, amends, and spiritual awakening alongside the Buddhist teachings of the four noble truths, the eightfold path, the five precepts, the three refuges, and the four foundations of mindfulness. Through meditation, lecture, discussion, and interactive and written exercises—paying special attention to the Buddha’s teachings on craving, letting go, and self-compassion—we learn mindfulness and lovingkindness practices to support our recovery.

We return home with a deeper sense of community, a broader understanding of the Twelve Steps, and with new ways to support our recovery.

Everyone is welcome; it is not necessary to be a member of a Twelve Step program. Addiction professionals learn techniques to share with clients.
