With more than 3 million practitioners in the United States, qigong is one of the most popular, enjoyable, and extensively researched methods to improve health and vitality.

Discover the essential practices of qigong for personal well-being and inner peace, as well as practical ways to improve posture, breathing, and mindfulness. Experience the core movements of Hunyuan (Primordial) Qigong, which was taught by Hu Yaozhen, the Taoist healer who coined the term “medical qigong” and was one of the first to offer qigong in hospitals. This comprehensive system of health and longevity exercises cleanses, recharges, and resets your body’s original healing system. Enjoy these powerful movements, as well as complementary qigong meditations for relaxation, clarity, and inner peace.

Through gentle exercise, meditation, visualization practices, and group discussion, we also explore the history and healing benefits of qigong and how and why it works. You leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of healing energy and a complete workout you can do at home for vibrant health and well-being.

This program welcomes beginners and is open to all levels of experience.

Dining Hall Hours (Dinner is included on arrival day):

Ken Cohen, MA, is a renowned grandmaster of qigong and tai chi with nearly 50 years of experience. A former collaborator with Alan Watts, Cohen is author of The Way of Qigong, numerous works in both English and Chinese, and more than 200 journal articles on spirituality and health. kennethcohen.com
