What if relief from suffering, depression, and discontent were as simple as questioning your thoughts?
In 1986, at the bottom of a 10-year spiral into depression and self-loathing, Byron Katie woke up one morning in a state of lasting joy. In that instant, she discovered that when she believed her stressful thoughts, she suffered, but that when she questioned them, she didn’t suffer—and that this is true for every human being.
From this realization came The Work, an astonishingly simple yet powerful process of self-inquiry that requires nothing more than a pen, paper, and an open mind. Accessible to all ages and backgrounds, The Work consists of four questions and the turnaround, which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. Eckhart Tolle calls The Work "a great blessing for our planet.”
Students of The Work have used it to end their suffering about health, body image, addiction, relationships, problems in business or at work, and many other unresolved issues in their lives.
During this event streamed live from Omega's Rhinebeck campus, experience the radical wisdom of Byron Katie and find freedom by undoing whatever makes you unhappy and allowing your mind to return to its true, peaceful, creative state.
This special two-hour livestream event can bring you relief, too—the freedom and relief that comes from understanding thoughts that have been troubling you for years.
For registered participants, this workshop will be available on demand through November 16, 2022. This workshop is also offered on Omega's Rhinebeck, New York, campus September 16-18. Learn more.
