Many indigenous ancestral prophecies predicted our present time of upheaval, but they did more than provide a warning. These ancient teachings also provided us with a map, one that can lead us back into alignment with all that truly matters.
Based on the book Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-Based Change by Sherri Mitchell, this workshop, which is open to all, creates deep roots for spiritual and social change by fusing traditional indigenous teachings with the foundational laws of the universe.
We examine how the illusion of separation has disconnected us from one another and from the sources of our survival. Through storytelling, talking circles, and a community fire, we journey into an indigenous worldview as a means of healing our collective trauma and reconnecting with spiritual source. Together, we explore core spiritual values, universal expressions of balance, and the four foundations of self-determined societies as guides for social change.
These timeless teachings represent a call to spiritual warriors of all ages and races for direct and wise action now.
