Opting out of the dominant drinking culture is a conscious lifestyle choice for anybody invested in their overall well-being. And while living “hangover-free” inevitably leads to greater joy, confidence, clarity, and connection, choosing not to drink is sometimes a lonely and conflicted decision.
Guided by Ruby Warrington, author of Sober Curious, we are guided to gently unpack some of the deeper reasons for our drinking habits, while discovering new tools for managing the transition to sobriety. Together we:
- Debunk some of the most frequently upheld myths and common fears about giving up alcohol
- Learn to build mental fortitude and rebalance emotional well-being as we pursue our most fulfilling life
- Make new connections with fellow sober-curious souls
- Find our own paths to a healthier relationship with alcohol, ourselves, and the world around us
Using journaling, storytelling, and astrology to unpack our personal boozestories, the weekend is open to all no matter where you are on your sober or sober-curious path. However, this program is not a replacement for rehab or 12-step recovery.
