Explore traditional practices emphasizing the fundamental principles of tai chi as contemplative experience in this retreat with Michael Craft.

Michael Craft demonstrates a moving meditation called flying arms.

Tai chi chuan (taijiquan) is a system of serene, flowing movements originally based on martial arts and used by millions of people around the world as a graceful, meditative exercise.

Regular practice of tai chi promotes health, strength, confidence, longevity, and peace of mind. Tai chi's interactive partner practices also support flexible, healthy boundaries and conscious relationships.

Join Omega teacher and staff member Michael Craft for this refreshing, revitalizing exploration of traditional solo and partner practices emphasizing the fundamental principles of tai chi as contemplative experience. Together, we explore rooting, stillness in motion, and the three gates of personal cultivation.

This retreat is designed to give beginning and returning students alike a solid foundation upon which to continue their enjoyment of this wonderful art.
