For more than 200 years, the beautiful, evocative images of the tarot have been viewed as a sacred teaching, a symbolic picture of the universe, delivering inspiration from spirit. Despite the tendency to think of divination as fortune-telling, tarot explores the extent to which one’s fortune is “destined” and how a reader can help us discover our personal story of empowerment.
In this experiential, hands-on workshop, we explore how fortune-telling and communication with the Divine work together to reveal our greatest destiny. We discover how a sacred approach to the cards can give us concrete direction in solving problems and charting our course through life. The very practice of reading the cards opens us to new meanings and changes us in subtle and important ways.
Teaching together at Omega for nearly 30 years, Mary K. Greer and Rachel Pollack welcome novices who want to read only for themselves as well as professional tarot readers.
Mary K. Greer and Rachel Pollack are also teaching Masters of the Tarot.
