Alexandra Solomon

Alexandra Solomon, PhD, author of Loving Bravely: 20 Lessons of Self-Discovery to Help You Get the Love You Want, is a couples therapist, teacher, retreat leader, and a passionate believer in the life-changing power of love. A clinical assistant professor with the department of psychology at Northwestern University, she works with a wide variety of people, including couples, clinicians, college students, corporate leaders, and members of the military.  She teaches the most popular course at Northwestern University—Building Loving and Lasting Relationships: Marriage 101, and trains graduate students at NU to do couples therapy.

She is a blogger for Psychology Today and is frequently asked to consult with the media on topics related to love, sex, and marriage.
