Description

Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, and Astrological Nadir are the “Four Angles” of the horoscope. Mastering their interpretation provides us with a solid underpinning for our understanding of the natal chart. In this weekend workshop, astrologer Steven Forrest guides us in an integrated, interdependent view of these four fundamental functions.

We begin by questioning popular, modern astrological practices that put great emphasis on the Ascendant and the Midheaven and very little on the 4th and the 7th cusps. We notice the tendency to value style and career over one’s inner life and human relationship—and come to understand that the successful manifestation of one’s soul intentions is critically dependent on a strong, conscious response to these four elemental points.

Professional astrologers, skilled amateurs, and those interested in astrology are invited to take a fresh look at the four angles.
