Discover evidence-based practices for radical self-love with psychotherapist and meditation instructor Ralph De La Rosa.

How can we heal the root causes of feeling “not good enough” and reclaim confidence, clarity, and compassion?

What’s needed is a self-love that is radical. A self-love that can show up when we’re full of joy just as easily as when life is a struggle. A self-love that goes beyond affirmations and ego indulgences and is capable of unburdening our core hurts and reactive defense mechanisms.

In this retreat with Ralph De La Rosa, a psychotherapist and meditation instructor who specializes in working with trauma, we mindfully reestablish what is known as our Buddha nature—the experience of wholeness, worthiness, love, and capacity for immense joy that each of us is born with. De La Rosa guides us through evidence-based practices for working toward skillfully unburdening these parts of ourselves.

Throughout the weekend, we engage in sitting meditation, breathwork, Internal Family Systems “parts work,” dynamic and straightforward talks, journaling breaks, and opportunities to truly rest and rediscover our path. Helping professionals will find information useful for their clients as well as for self-care.

Faculty recommends you read the following books in preparation for the course:

  • Internal Family Systems Therapy by Richard C. Schwartz
  • Touching Enlightenment: Finding Realization in the Body by Reginald A. Ray

Bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, tick repellant and comfortable clothing with you to the course.
