The Calm Clarity approach to driving social transformation shows us how to be more effective leaders, activists, and human beings.
Calm Clarity’s model for social change is built upon Due Quach’s understanding of how humans move between three patterns of brain activation. Brain 1.0 takes over when our freeze-flight-fight system makes us build walls and contract. Brain 2.0 takes over when our reward system makes us chase immediate gratification and self-interest. Activating and strengthening Brain 3.0 restores our brain to an integrated state—enabling us to access our inner wisdom and compassion—to manifest a greater vision and purpose. To change society, leaders must activate Brain 3.0 to inspire and motivate others, navigate obstacles and setbacks, challenge existing power structures, and re-design broken systems and institutions.
Quach decided to develop and share this program because of these realizations: Without inner peace, people cannot bring about world peace. Collective healing is contingent upon personal healing. Co-creating solutions to complex challenges requires us to harness science and wisdom.
