Description

Become a certified Warm Water Yoga instructor and learn to teach this safe, supportive yoga practice to people with special needs or who are no longer able to have a traditional practice.

In this 40-hour training program recognized by IAYT and led by yoga therapist Terry Roth Schaff, you learn yoga poses and sequences in the water that increase cardiovascular circulation, open restricted joints, stretch tight muscles, and strengthen weak muscles. You also learn breathing practices and relaxation exercises that help students feel grounded, rejuvenated, and refreshed. And you explore what it takes to set up a Warm Water Yoga program in your community.

This training begins Friday at 4:00 p.m.
