Water-based yoga is a playful, fun, and safe way to practice yoga. It’s an ideal practice for people who have never practiced yoga before, have limited mobility or restricted range of motion, or are looking for a gentle way to get back to yoga after an injury or joint replacement.

Guided by yoga therapist Terry Roth Schaff, you use props to practice standing, suspended, and floating yoga poses in a deliciously warm pool. The buoyancy of the water takes the pressure off of your joints and removes the risk of hurting yourself if you loose your balance.

In a stress-free environment, you learn how water yoga can help you build stability, improve balance, enhance coordination, and increase mobility. All are welcome—knowing how to swim is not a prerequisite.

This training begins Friday at 4:00 p.m.
