Workshop

Watercolor Landscape Adventure

Aug 19 - Aug 24 2018 Rhinebeck, NY

We are no longer taking registrations for this workshop.

Enjoy the creative process in this playful exploration of watercolor landscape painting with Ann Kristin Lindsay.

Our yearning to connect with the world and express its beauty is natural and vital. Painting watercolor landscapes offers us a way to experience that connection. By focusing on the creative process as an adventure in playful exploration, rather than focusing on a final product, we transform our trepidation into excitement. We become free to enjoy the journey and marvel at all that happens along the way.

Award-winning artist Ann Kristin Lindsay, author of Watercolor: A New Beginning, helps students of all experience levels who want to feel bolder, more adventurous, and more capable painting in watercolor. As we become comfortable with the unknowns of the creative process—painting without frustration, fear, or judgment—we gain confidence that serves us in life.

Through a series of sequential painting adventures, we explore many facets of watercolor painting, including working with negative space, skies, water, and reflections—all the while experiencing the deeply satisfying, soulful pleasures of watercolor landscape painting.
