“People are complex,” says Stan Tatkin, developer of a Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy® (PACT). “We don’t come with manuals that automate the process of getting along.”
Even if we did have general manuals, what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. Nor can we simply expect relationships to fall into place, as many couples believe.
PACT quickly gets to the heart of what’s happening with conflict and tension in your relationship. Developed out of leading-edge research, PACT works by eliminating a lot of the arguing about who’s right. Instead, it looks at what’s really happening in your brain, body, and emotions when you fight.
Through dynamic interactions, exercises, and experimentation, you come to understand how you and your partner really work together and you begin to develop a specific set of guidelines designed for you and your partner. The invaluable tools you learn in this couples workshop can be implemented immediately to help you move forward in your relationship and grow as a couple.
Couples at any stage of relationship are welcome.
Enrollment is limited for this program; register early.
