In this weeklong retreat for yoga teachers, educators, and professionals, gain an understanding of how these stressors function in the brain and body, and how they show up behaviorally on a day-to-day level as well as in times of stress.
Instruction is provided to teach others how to effectively deal with stressors through a variety of proven methods, including yoga, meditation and self-EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), along with discussion, lecture, drawing and writing. You learn to:
- Apply a variety of teaching styles to assess and adapt instruction to individuals with diverse needs
- Identify core themes such as body positivity and self-compassion
- Give individuals options to find what works for them in their lives
