Yoga is known to help quiet the mind. When we silence the parts of our brains associated with criticism, our writing, our art, and even our lives can reach new potential and expand with creative brilliance.

In this workshop, combining yoga with a positive, love-centered approach to writing, you learn to quiet the inner critic so you can create without fear, discover your innate talent and genius, and prepare yourself to become a receptive vessel for divine inspiration. Through yoga practices, reading and writing exercises, group discussion, and sharing, you stoke your creative fire and open yourself to limitless possibility so you can write the stories you’re destined to tell.

When sharing during this workshop, we offer only constructive comments that shine a light on the energy, strength, and power in your writing. Everyone returns home with new inspiration, motivation, encouragement, and practices to continue working on creative projects.

No yoga experience is required; all levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Dining Hall Hours (Dinner is included on arrival day):
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m.–8:45 a.m.

Daily Open Classes in meditation, yoga, tai chi, or movement (subject to availability):

Karen Kenney, founder of Quest Yoga in Concord, New Hampshire, has been a full-time certified Kripalu Yoga teacher since 2001 and is the host of The Yoga Show With Karen on ConcordTV. A memoirist, inspirational speaker, spiritual mentor, and certified Gateless Writing teacher, she has been described as “a fierce fairy godmother.”
