After retiring from an 18-year Hollywood acting career that appeared successful on the outside, Lisa Jakub needed to look at what was true on the inside. She had social anxiety and a debilitating panic disorder that often made it hard to leave the house. Ultimately, she found yoga and mindfulness were powerful ways to manage her mental health and thrive.

This workshop includes lecture, mindful group discussions, writing exercises, beginner-friendly asana, and meditation practice that will give us the tools to:

  • Create a practice to support mental and emotional well-being
  • Access our creativity in order to address trauma and heal from past experiences
  • Explore and transform the inner critic, samskara, and identifying narratives
  • Use neuroplasticity to identify detrimental mental patterns and make changes to thoughts and behaviors
  • Learn how to use ancient yogic philosophy and therapeutic writing to gain a deeper understanding of our purpose, connection, and authentic power

This class is accessible to all. Beginners to yoga and writing are welcome.
