Adapting Yoga to You
This year Omega is launching 11 innovative workshops and training opportunities in the growing field of yoga therapy. Using specific postures, breathing techniques, deep relaxation, and meditation, yoga therapy adapts the practice of yoga to the unique needs of individuals and benefits people of all ages, body types, and mobility challenges, as well as those who have never tried yoga before.
Combining ancient healing practices with new scientific and medical understanding, yoga therapy encompasses a wide range of practices that empower those seeking better health to reduce symptoms, manage physical conditions, and address specific health concerns—including injuries, illnesses, and temporary or chronic health conditions.
As more people increasingly turn to alternative and complementary modalities, the need for yoga therapy will continue to grow. We hope to see more people experience and share the benefits of yoga therapy to support the healing process, restore balance, and improve quality of life.
