Bret Cook

Bret Cook has been a professional artist since the age of 15, and was represented in a gallery in Aspen for many years where his oil paintings were sought by collectors around the world. Though he is well known as a teacher, he is a student at heart and always strives to learn more. His easygoing manner and clear understanding were developed both spiritually and professionally.

Cook studied Architecture at The University of Florida then transferred to Ringling College of Art and Design to finish his higher education studying fine art, commercial illustration, and photography. His current project in the Virgin Islands will constitute a sculpture the size of two football fields at base and four stories high. Designed of steel and concrete to promote marine growth, its purpose is environmental, educational, and carries with it a message of peace and balance.
