Amber Ryan is a healing artist with an embodiment and articulation of the 5Rhythms® movement meditation practice that inspires depth and expansion. She studied with 5Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth in New York City for 10 years and served as faculty on Gabrielle's first 5Rhythms Reach Out for Kids project, a program to help kids take their problems to the dance floor and receive nourishment from the 5Rhythms practice.
An alumna of both Florida State University’s School of Theatre and the Florida School of the Arts, Amber Ryan’s professional credits include a performance as Emily MacIver in ABC’s One Life to Live. She also served as dance captain for award-winning choreographer Mia Michaels for two stage productions at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
Ryan began teaching dance to children when she was just 14 years old. Years later, she made the transition from teaching kids dance technique and choreography to leading Gabrielle Roth’s first 5Rhythms Reach Out Project at The Farnam House. She also has launched Kids in Motion, a movement program for kids of all ages.
Amber Ryan lives between Nosara, Costa Rica, and New York City, and travels internationally sharing her love and understanding of the 5Rhythms® practice.
