Char Wilkins

Char Wilkins, MSW, LCSW, is founder and director of the Center for Mindful Living in Hartford, Connecticut. She teaches mindfulness-based programs that focusing on the dynamic connection between mind, body and spirit and assists people with mindfully creating emotional, physical, and spiritual health in their life.

Extensively trained in mindfulness meditation and its application to depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and chronic pain, Wilkins facilitates researched-based programs addressing these issues. She has published articles on mindfulness-based eating and currently serves as vice-president for The Center for Mindful Eating, an organization that defines and shares the principles of mindful eating through dialogue, debate, experience, and training.
