Deborah Dana

Deborah Dana, LCSW, LICSW, is a founding member of Island Institute for Trauma Recovery. She specializes in working with complex traumatic stress. In addition to her clinical practice, she provides neuroscience informed consultation for clinicians and agencies.

She is a part-time faculty member in the School of Social Work at the University of Southern Maine, where she developed and teaches a trauma theory and practice class. Her relationships with neuroscience researchers influence her clinical work and teaching.
