Linda Goldstein

Linda Goldstein was a young jazz singer whose talent for business was discovered by such greats as Bill Evans and Chet Baker. In 1979, she in turn discovered Bobby McFerrin and began inventing vehicles for his boundless creativity. Along the way, she received a Record of the Year Grammy for “Don’t Worry, Be Happy,” and, curiously, is still the only female producer to have earned this honor. She also has guided the careers of Laurie Anderson, Cyndi Lauper, David Byrne, and many others.
