Each year, we hire about 250 seasonal staff to help run Omega’s Rhinebeck, New York, campus programs. Omega determines the best position for each applicant, based on departmental needs as well as your experience and interests. A requirement for all positions is the desire to be of help to others, coupled with a friendly, relational approach to your interactions.
Each year, in addition to our other seasonal staff positions, Omega has specialty job openings that require more experience, including full-time and part-time cooks, lifeguards, resident faculty, visiting faculty, artists-in-residence, and Wellness Center providers. These are full-season positions, starting in April or May and ending in October, and their compensation packages differ from other seasonal staff positions.

One of the great benefits of being at Omega is the opportunity to experience the multidimensional programs that are offered to both seasonal staff and core staff. Throughout the season, Omega offers a diverse selection of staff programs—classes, gatherings, and special events—designed to help staff learn new skills, find inspiration and meaning, and build a sense of community. Most of these classes are open to all staff, although some may need special permission.
