Ann Dyer, yoga instructor and vocal artist, is known for her unique blending of asana and sound and her expertise in the yoga of sleep. Trained primarily in the Iyengar tradition, her extensive education includes a two-year intensive studies program with Rodney Yee, and since 1996, a devotion to the in-depth study of nada yoga—the yoga of sound—beginning with an intensive course of study in India, and continuing with private instruction with her mentor Pandit Mukesh Desai.

Dubbed a yoga “sleep guru” by Yoga Journal, Dyer has been a full-time yoga instructor for ten years, teaching both asana (postures) and nada yoga. Her latest venture, Zyoga: The Yoga Sleep Ritual, is a creative collaboration with Sleep Garden Enterprises on the use of yoga for stress-induced insomnia.

Ann Dyer leads workshops internationally and resides in Oakland, California, where she is a senior faculty member and teaching associate of Rodney Yee at the Piedmont Yoga Studio, Oakland, California.
