For over 25 years, Annis has advocated the value and practice of inclusive leadership in over 60 Fortune 500 companies and governments and organizations worldwide. She is coauthor of Gender Intelligence: Breakthrough Strategies for Increasing Diversity and Improving Your Bottom Line, and helps leaders transform and create more inclusive, more productive organizations.
Annis' first book, Same Words, Different Language, offers insights and proven methods for breaking gender barriers. In Leadership and the Sexes, she reveals the latest brain-behavior research on gender differences. The recently released Cracking the Code on Gender Equality: The Gender-Intelligent Organization, explores success and productivity. Annis is chair emeritus and member of the Executive Committee of the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard Kennedy School, and was recently conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Alliance for Women.
