Robin Greenfield leading a foraging workshop

Learn how to identify, harvest, and enjoy the abundance of food and medicine growing freely and abundantly all around you with Robin Greenfield as your guide.

Foraging School is an opportunity to learn how to identify, harvest and enjoy the abundance of food and medicine that is growing in your region while deepening your connection with Earth and growing your community.

Food and medicine grow freely all around us. This is your opportunity to learn how to identify, harvest, and enjoy this abundance!

We explore Omega's campus with plant walks, learning 30+ edible and medicinal plants, and participating in hands-on workshops covering harvesting, processing, and preservation. You learn how to avoid toxic "lookalikes," timing the harvest, and foraging ethics, including sustainability and safe urban foraging.

Robin shares his deep relationship with our plant relatives, drawing from his experience of foraging all of his food for a full year. Tips for drying, freezing, canning, and storage help you step confidently into a more Earth-connected lifestyle.

Return home inspired to make foraging part of your life.
