Throughout the year, Omega employs approximately 60 Core Staff who live off-campus and plan, design, market, and implement the year’s programs, as well as handle the innumerable administrative, programming, and marketing tasks that keep Omega going. These are year-round, salaried jobs with full benefits.
Most Core Staff live locally in the Hudson Valley. They come from many different professional backgrounds and join together to serve Omega’s mission to provide hope and healing to individuals and society through innovative educational experiences that awaken the best in the human spirit.
Core Staff benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 403b plan, holidays, vacation, sick, and personal days. In addition, core staff can enjoy the use of campus amenities (lake/beach, tennis, pickle ball, and basketball courts, hiking trails, and the Sanctuary), can attend all optional classes that are offered to program participants as well select from special classes that are offered only to the staff community.
Core Staff also receive a complimentary catalog workshop as well as discounts on other catalog workshops, discounts in Omega's Café, Bookstore, and Wellness Center. When the campus is open, and they are at work, Core Staff can also enjoy complimentary lunch in the Dining Hall.
