Bakara Wintner is cocreator of Wayhome Tarot and Visions in the Liminal Space oracle decks, and author of WTF is Tarot?…and How Do I Do It? Since her plunge down the rabbit hole via a gifted tarot deck in 2014, magic-making has been her full-time gig.

A Chicago native at home in the Hudson Valley, Bakara opened Everyday Magic, a metaphysical boutique featuring crystals, tarot, altar items, books, and more, in 2016. She launched EM University, a source for esoteric education, in 2023. Her favorite crystal is citrine and she has too many Scorpio and Capricorn placements.
