Chris Bruce is a Grammy-winning producer (Meshell Ndegeocello's No More Water: The Gospel of James Baldwin), multi-instrumentalist, writer, recording and touring musician. As a uniquely genuine and visionary presence in music today, Chris is a longtime collaborator with Meshell Ndegeocello, Lizz Wright, and My Brightest Diamond. He has worked with many luminaries such as Seal, Steve Jordan, Joe Henry, Toshi Reagon, and Paula Cole. He produced Lizz Wright's 2024 release, Shadow, and collaborated with Morley on her 2024 release Follow The Sound, and their 2023 family/children's music project, Story Of The Sky under the artist name, “The Bruces.”
