A retired schoolteacher and former actress, Elva brings decades of educational expertise to her teaching, making complex rules accessible, supportive, and fun for adult learners. Alongside her sister and business partner, Jami Josephson-Chace, she hosts dynamic leagues and corporate events, and runs Let’s Teach Mahjong, a nationwide training community that empowers instructors to share the game.
