Lauren Kaplan is associate director of farmer training at Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming.

Lauren Kaplan first joined Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming in December 2021. As associate director of farmer training, Lauren leads programming, including Glynwood's Apprentice Program, the Hudson Valley Farm Business Incubator, the Mid-Hudson Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (MH CRAFT), and Glynwood's land access work. 

Lauren has more than seven years of farming experience at farms in California and the Hudson Valley. Most recently, she served as farm communications and CSA director at Poughkeepsie Farm Project where she trained farm interns, improved CSA access for SNAP users, and oversaw a 500-plus member CSA. 

Lauren has a BA from Brandeis University and a certificate in Ecological Horticulture from the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz.
