Layne Dalfen is a dream analyst with 50 years of experience working with dreams and dreamers. Founder of The Dream Interpretation Center, she trained at Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training and the Alfred Adler Institute in Adlerian principles of dream analysis. Layne has been teaching dream analysis to counseling students at Concordia University since 2004. She is the author of the Have A Great Dream books.

Layne developed the 6-Point of Entry method for understanding dream meaning and enhancing problem-solving skills. She is widely recognized for her “Understanding Dreams” column in Psychology Today and as “The Dream Catcher” for Oprah Daily. Her consulting work with Pixar contributed to Dream Productions. Layne is a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) and has made more than 250 appearances on radio, podcasts, and television.
