Nora LaTorre is a prominent American nonprofit leader, CEO of Eat Real Certified, and advocate for sustainable food systems and child health.
Nora began her professional journey at Target Corporation as a senior business analyst in international sourcing from 2007 to 2010, managing more than $350 million in retail receipts and advancing sustainability initiatives in apparel supply chains. She received awards such as the Speed Is Life Award and contributed to supplier sustainability committees.
Joining Fair Trade USA in 2010, she progressed from business development specialist of consumer packaged goods to vice president by 2017, driving partnerships for fair trade certifications benefiting farmers worldwide. Her work focused on consumer engagement and sustainable livelihoods.
Since 2019, Nora has served as CEO of Eat Real, a nonprofit certifying schools for real food, impacting more than 600 partners to combat childhood health issues through policy, awareness, and access. She also co-founded Epic Day (2017-2019) and briefly led sales at the agtech firm Ganaz.
Nora advises on boards such as One Green Thing, serves on Tufts Nutrition Security Council, and speaks at global events, featured by CNN, BBC, and Fast Company. She participates in XPRIZE, Aspen Institute, and coalitions for public health and climate.
An endurance athlete, she completed the North Face 50K ultra marathon in 2017. Fluent in Spanish, Nora is a mother, investor, and strategic advisor promoting longevity and conscious consumerism.
