Stephen Brooks is a permaculture educator, eco community designer, and social entrepreneur best known as a cofounder of Punta Mona Center for Regenerative Design & Botanical Studies in Costa Rica and the Envision Festival. He serves as a cocreator of several trailblazing regenerative communities, including La Ecovilla, Alegría Village, and Ecoversity, an online and in person learning platform focused on permaculture, food forests, and regenerative culture. 

Over the past two decades, Stephen has worked at the intersection of activism, education, and land based community building, guiding thousands of students and visitors through immersive experiences that demonstrate how humans can live in deeper reciprocity with tropical ecosystems. His work centers on biodiversity, community resilience, and creating scalable models for regenerative villages that heal land while fostering vibrant cultural life.
