In Chinese culture, dragons hold the power to change, adapt, and overcome obstacles. They are guardians and rainmakers, equally at home in deep waters and open skies. And unlike their Western counterparts, they don't breathe fire, but breathe clouds.
In this 6-day workshop, Mimi Kuo-Deemer shares her love of qigong's powerful, spiraling dragon forms alongside the mindfulness and dharma teachings that have shaped her practice for more than 25 years. Together, these two complementary streams offer a direct, felt experience of what dragons can teach us: how to meet difficulty with steadiness, and how to turn challenging situations into insight and understanding.
Each day weaves together hands-on practice, talks, and guided meditation. You learn a series of qigong dragon forms that hone the qualities dragons bestow: adaptability, clear vision, confidence and kindness, protection from harmful thoughts and emotions, and the capacity to meet whatever life brings.
Who Should Attend? All levels of experience, identities, and interests are welcome and encouraged to join. Come play, explore, and awaken your own mindful, dragon-like possibilities.
