Poet Laureate of Mississippi, Beth Ann Fennelly teaches in the MFA Program at the University of Mississippi, where she was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year. Her poetry has appeared in more than 50 anthologies. A recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and other awards, Fennelly has published several books of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, including Unmentionables (W.W. Norton, 2008), and most recently, Heating and Cooling: 52 Micro-Memoirs (W.W. Norton, 2018).
