Louis Schneidman

Louis Schneidman is a professional trapeze artist, coach, and program director for Trapeze-Experience, an industry-leading organization that promotes wellness, personal transformation and freedom through the flying trapeze activity.

Louis began as a trapeze instructor for Club Med under the tutelage of lifelong friend and circus mentor, Peter Gold, owner and director of Trapeze-Experience where Louis has been a facilitator for over 20 years. He has performed internationally with top level flying acts and has been a trainer, rigger, and performer on Circus of the Stars. He currently works with Cirque du Soleil as a rigger responsible for the safety and lives of numerous performers as well as for flying effects. He is also a facilitator for Cirque du Soleil’s interactive division, where companies and individuals interact with performers and play on various circus apparatuses in a team-building context.

Having made the connection between the flying trapeze and the personal transformation it effects, Louis has dedicated much of his life to that purpose. He recognizes that when people fly on the trapeze for the first time, they often experience a reframe of what was once thought of as impossible now becoming possible. This reframe tends to spill into other areas of the participants’ lives, and they learn how to remain operational, focused, and productive while intense emotions such as fear are present.
