Marlysa Sullivan, MPT, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, is a physical therapist and yoga therapist.

With a deep understanding of the evidence-based benefits of yoga, as well as years of study of the ancient philosophy and teachings of the practice, she makes yoga accessible on multiple levels.

Sullivan teaches anatomy, kinesiology, yoga therapy, and meditation in a number of settings, from yoga studios to universities, including Emory University and Georgia State University. She is on faculty at Maryland University of Integrative Health, where she created and teaches several courses in the first Master of Science in Yoga Therapy program.

She is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and helped to create the current standards for yoga therapy.

Marlysa Sullivan directs workshops and teacher trainings at the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies and maintains a private practice in Atlanta.
