Sally Schneider is an award-winning journalist, editor, syndicated columnist, radio commentator, and stylist. Sally is also the creator and prime mover of Improvised Life, a niche, subscriber-supported website that has published five days a week since 2009.
A former food writer, her work has been featured in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, The Atlantic, Self, Food & Wine, and Saveur, as well as on Good Morning America and the CBS Early Show. She is the author The Improvisational Cook and A New Way to Cook, voted One of the Best Cookbooks of the Decade by the Guardian. She has been a regular guest on National Public Radio’s The Splendid Table for two decades.
