Steve Gorn

Steve Gorn, whose flute music for yoga and meditation has been said to “re-align the cells,” is featured in the Academy Award-winning documentary film, Born Into Brothels. Well-known to audiences in India and the West, he is an innovator in the field of contemporary world music. He is featured on Paul Simon’s CD, You’re The One, and has toured and recorded with Jack DeJohnette, Coleman Barks, Glen Velez, Krishna Das, Simon Shaheen, and Paul Winter.

Gorn was the musical director for the recent performances and Tzadik recording of Teiji Ito’s Watermill, and he is currently composing music for a theatrical work based on the life of the Tibetan yogi, Milarepa.
