Taji Riley is an expert carpenter dedicated to helping women gain comfort working in the trades.
Riley is a distinguished member of the Carpenters Union Local 157. The Bronx native has always been an advocate for women and hared interest in youth development. Taji first showed interest in carpentry during her time at Rocking The Boat, a youth development program that focuses on empowering young people of The South Bronx. Early in her career she showed ambitions to establish herself as someone in the union. Taji was the first person in her family to take a step to become apart of the building trades.
