In a series of lectures and writing prompts, we explore the power of vulnerability and fearlessness in writing, the importance of delving beneath the surface by writing with a depth of consciousness, and the artistic energy that’s created when we write vividly about our senses and the world we and our characters inhabit.
Cheryl shares truths about the struggle and agony of writing, and also the joy and profound delight of telling the stories we long to tell. She gives practical advice about how to grapple with the challenges writers face and shares lots of craft advice too—about how to make our sentences sing, how to begin to think about structuring our stories, and how to make every word matter.
