This juice recipe from Joe Cross, the filmmaker behind the hit documentary, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, features Swiss chard, a great source of calcium, vitamin C, and vitamin A, along with fruit to create a delicious and nutritious drink.

Makes 2 Servings

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
    4 chard leaves
    1 kiwi
    1 cup black or red grapes
    1 green apple

Directions

  1. Wash all ingredients. Peel kiwi, remove rind from pineapple, and remove grapes from stems. Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy!
